Customers should only provide another person's information where they are authorised or otherwise reasonably entitled to provide that information for the purpose of arranging the transport service.
We use recipient information primarily for arranging, performing and confirming the delivery.
6. Customer accounts
Approved MAK Transport customers may be provided with an online account that allows them to submit bookings.
Account information may include a customer username, account identifier, business name and authentication information.
Customers are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and should notify MAK Transport if they believe their account has been accessed without authorisation.
7. Delivery tracking and location information
Live tracking is limited to the relevant delivery.
When a driver activates live tracking, our systems may process the approximate location of the driver's device or vehicle for the purpose of displaying the delivery's progress to an authorised customer.
Customer tracking links use a private token and are intended to be accessed only by the customer or other authorised recipients.
Location information may also be used for operational purposes such as delivery status, service monitoring, route coordination and investigation of delivery issues.
Live tracking ends when the delivery is completed or tracking is otherwise stopped.
8. Waiting time and delivery timestamps
Our delivery system may record operational timestamps, including arrival at pickup, departure from pickup, arrival at delivery and completion of delivery. These records may be used to calculate waiting or detention time, manage deliveries and resolve billing or service enquiries.
9. Proof of delivery
We may collect or create proof-of-delivery records, including delivery photographs, timestamps, recipient names, signatures, delivery notes and Authority to Leave records where relevant to the service.
10. Payment information
Where card or other electronic payment functionality is offered, payment processing may be provided by a third-party payment provider.
MAK Transport does not need to receive or store your complete card number in our own booking database where payment details are handled securely by the payment provider.
We may retain information associated with a transaction, such as payment status, amount, invoice number, transaction identifier or payment method.
11. When we may disclose personal information

MAK Transport uses third-party technology services to operate parts of its website and business systems.
These may include providers used for database hosting, customer authentication, website hosting, email delivery, mapping, live tracking and payment processing.
Information may be processed through those services where reasonably necessary for them to provide their functionality to us.
13. Overseas processing and storage
Some technology providers used by MAK Transport may operate infrastructure, support services or data processing facilities outside Australia.
As a result, personal information may in some circumstances be processed or stored outside Australia.
The countries involved may vary depending on the technology provider and its infrastructure.
14. Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate to our business to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Measures may include authenticated customer accounts, private tracking tokens, restricted administrative access, secure database services, encrypted web connections and access controls provided by our technology providers.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, and customers should take reasonable steps to protect their own account credentials and private tracking links.
